Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product communications strategy that supports key business goals, helps us reach new consumers, and enhances the company’s reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business, tech, and trade media outlets.
  • Serve as a leader across cross-functional workstreams, in close collaboration with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure consistent, clear, and compelling messaging across campaigns and channels.
  • Oversee all aspects of product launch communication plans, including media relations, internal communications, and writing of press-facing materials such as press releases, blog posts, product demos, and case studies.
  • Use first and third party data to measure the success of communication strategies and adjust accordingly to improve engagement and impact.
  • Serve as a leader on the Communications team and across the broader company, bringing best-practices to the function and mentoring junior employees to grow the overall capacity of the organization.

It allows customers to overdraft up to $200 on debit card purchases without fees through its SpotMe service and provides direct deposit for paychecks up to two days earlier than traditional banks.
