  • Hands-on experience with at least two of static application security testing, software composition analysis, dynamic application security testing, or secrets-scanning tools such as Checkmarx, SonarQube, Snyk, or Qualys Web Application Scanning, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and how to integrate security checks without disrupting developer velocity, using platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.

  • Drive security integration into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines across GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins, making security checks automated, fast, and non-bypassable.
  • Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews for high-risk applications, including e-commerce platforms, payment integrations, and customer data systems.
  • Consult with development teams on vulnerability remediation, explaining both the issue and how to fix it.
  • Define and enforce security quality gates, determining what blocks a release, what generates a warning, and what is tracked for future remediation.
  • Manage the SAST/SCA/DAST/IaC Security Manager, providing technical direction and ensuring operational excellence across scanning platforms.
  • Report application security posture metrics to the Associate Director and CISO, including vulnerability-density trends, remediation velocity, and coverage gaps.
  • Evaluate emerging application security technologies, including AI-assisted code review and automated fix-suggestion tools.
  • Coordinate with the Offensive Security team to align penetration-testing priorities with application risk profiles.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with container security scanning tools such as Trivy, Prisma Cloud, or Aqua, and infrastructure-as-code security tools such as Checkov or tfsec.
  • Background in software development, including production-code experience.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM security risks and secure development practices for AI-integrated applications.
  • CSSLP, GWEB, or CASE certification.
  • Experience in retail or e-commerce application security, especially in PCI DSS-relevant environments.
