- Willingness to travel overnight when needed.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a drug screen.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Install gas lines and fittings for natural gas and propane systems.
- Install and work with black pipe, CSST, and TracPipe.
- Connect gas lines to fireplaces, outdoor grills, kitchen appliances, generators, and other natural gas appliances.
- Install gas piping for related equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and gas plans.
- Apply and comply with North Carolina gas codes.
- Maintain safety awareness of tools, testing devices, and jobsite surroundings.
- Demonstrate general knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
