Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Three to five years of coaching experience.
  • Basic leadership coaching certification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with performance feedback, coaching conversations, empathy, and assessment tool usage.
  • Ability to engage diverse personalities and learning styles.
  • Ability to use business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office; advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to support structured feedback loops and development goal tracking.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate leadership development plans, conduct individual coaching sessions, and track leadership growth and behavioral change.
  • Identify baseline performance by obtaining specific input from key stakeholders through confidential one-on-one interviews.
  • Probe stakeholder perspectives to determine how success will be measured and identify the client's top priorities.
  • Identify areas for skills development.
  • Build a development plan that helps the client identify business priorities, develop critical thinking skills, increase self-awareness, and build effective, collaborative working relationships with peers, direct reports, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Explore experiences that may challenge the client's comfort level and analyze internal or external obstacles to promote growth.
  • Support the client in overcoming obstacles and discomfort inherent to the development process while increasing awareness.
  • Measure and report results using metrics related to behavioral changes, goal achievement, and business impact.
  • Collect feedback, track key performance indicators, and analyze the return on investment of the coaching program.
  • Conduct 30–60-minute confidential interviews with at least four key stakeholders, with additional stakeholders interviewed as needed.
  • Conduct coaching through in-person interviews or telecommunications, including remote sessions or phone calls, as requested.
  • Schedule one-hour-or-longer calls around milestone events such as feedback sessions, business planning, and team reviews.
  • Maintain unlimited email communication and ad hoc calls.
  • Continuously measure progress against coaching goals, the roadmap, and data gathered from sessions.
  • Use existing assessments, performance reviews, and other relevant documentation in coaching.
  • Complete a development plan and close-out assessment report.
