Requirements
At least 5 years performing analysis on current-state and future-state business processes, identifying gaps, and making recommendations to stakeholders.
At least 5 years of experience with complex business architecture modeling and facilitating assessments and workshops with senior healthcare practitioners to deliver significant changes to healthcare service delivery.
At least 5 years developing or modifying clinical workflows.
Experience with clinical applications such as Allscripts, healthcare portal solutions, radiology information systems, picture archiving and communication systems, and electronic medical records.
A certificate, diploma, or degree from an educational institution with a major in Business or Systems Analysis is a strong asset.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional, Prosci, PRINCE2, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library are assets.
Responsibilities
Participate in the transformation of the provincial healthcare system to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment.
Collaborate with project teams and project managers to define project scope, requirements, timelines, resources, and quality expectations.
Facilitate discovery sessions, planning workshops, and requirements-gathering meetings with business and technical stakeholders.
Analyze and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and document current-state and future-state business processes and workflows.
Translate business requirements into business rules and solution recommendations.
Identify gaps, risks, issues, and opportunities, and recommend effective resolutions.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and technical teams.
Assist with reporting requirements, report development, and testing activities.
Perform quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and functionality of solutions.
Desired Qualifications
Administrative or clinical experience obtained through work in the medical field.

5+ years experience with complex business architecture modelling and facilitating assessments\workshops working with senior healthcare practitioners to deliver significant changes to the delivery of healthcare services
5+ years developing or modifying clinical workflows
Certificate, Diploma or Degree from an educational facility with a major in Business or Systems Analysis is also a strong asset.
Other relevant certifications such as CBAP, Prosci, PRINCE2 and ITIL would be an asset
Administrative or clinical experience obtained via working in the medical field is desirable
