Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with Java.
- Experience with Java Message Service.
- Expertise in REST web services.
- Required experience with extract, transform, load (ETL).
- Familiarity with web-service technologies, tradeoffs, and emerging design patterns.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related degree.
- Experience developing high-performance, scalable, and highly available web services using Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns.
- Programming skills, especially in Java.
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering software or platforms used by other developers.
- Understanding of web-services and service-oriented architecture standards, including REST, OAuth, JavaScript Object Notation, and Simple Object Access Protocol/Web Services Description Language.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Server-side Java coding skills.
- Some exposure to extract, transform, load (ETL).
