  • Knowledge of commonly used controls concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Active pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, preferably in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or computer engineering and computer science.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with all phases of controls projects, including concept and research, estimating, component selection, network design, panel design, layout, device troubleshooting, programmable logic controller and human-machine interface programming, on-site installation and debugging, and after-sales support under an experienced engineer and established guidelines.
  • Use computer software for design engineering and programmable logic controller and human-machine interface programming.
  • Perform basic system troubleshooting and communicate status verbally and in writing.
  • Assist and support the process for designing and delivering successful controls.
  • Support the design and development of layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power and control distribution.
  • Assist in producing detailed schematics.
  • Support project systems checklists during field installation and startup.
  • Assist with systems documentation and manual creation.
  • Assist in developing electrical diagrams.
  • Work as a contributor on project teams.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed.
