Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in UX and UI
  • Strong portfolio including live mobile examples
  • Experience shipping designs to public users with proven success or failure data
  • Ability to consider technical implications of design decisions
  • Experience coaching junior designers and collaborating with Product Managers
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related design field or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design and evolution of the Eight Sleep app
  • Conduct usability studies and user interviews to inform design work
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative customer insights to make design decisions
  • Build, document, and organize the UI components of the design system
  • Align with Product and Brand stakeholders and present design updates to C-suite leadership
  • Serve as the subject matter expert responsible for app design patterns and interactions
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ship world class products and features
