About the job
- Bac+3 or engineering-level academic education.
- Experience in production.
- Experience in personnel management.
- Fluent French.
- Knowledge of efficiency, TRP, quality, scrap, and workshop stock management.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and production management tools, including AIC, 8D, and Ishikawa.
- Knowledge of Lean tools, including Hoshin, 5S, and Kanban.
- Ensure the production cell meets its safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Manage all operators on the team.
- Coordinate functional interactions with support services, including quality, planning, maintenance, and methods.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly SQDCM and 5S performance, and lead the improvement projects, PA, and 8D actions needed to achieve performance targets.
- Welcome and integrate new hires into the production cell.
- Identify, recognize, and develop team members’ skills, including versatility and multi-skilling.
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations and discipline within the team.
- Ensure manufacturing procedures and safety rules are applied.
- Ensure proper use and protection of the machines, tooling, and measuring equipment provided to the cell.
- Report any safety or environmental risks identified in the cell.
- Analyze cell performance indicators, including safety, TRP, efficiency, defect rate, scrap, stock, service level, schedule adherence, 5S audit results, and absenteeism; indicators are shared across two or three rotating teams in the same cell.
- Lead the daily AIC, which is mandatory and non-delegable.
- Lead the Hoshin, 5S, and 8D improvement projects needed to achieve the cell’s performance targets.
- Knowledge of English.
