Box CEO Aaron Levie sold 15,000 shares of the company on 10 September 2026, valued at approximately $513,600, according to an SEC filing. The sale was executed through a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan established in March 2026, which allows corporate insiders to schedule predetermined share sales. Following the transaction, Levie retains direct ownership of 2,859,673 shares, including restricted stock units. The cloud-based content management firm's shares had generated a 4% return over the preceding year. Box operates a Software-as-a-Service platform for enterprise content management, serving customers across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and media sectors. The company reported $1.2 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue and $130.7 million in net income, with a market capitalisation of $4.7 billion.
Box, a cloud storage company, is gaining momentum after years of sideways trading, according to Jim Cramer. The firm posted second-quarter revenue of $321.1 million, up 9.2% year-over-year, and raised full-year guidance to approximately $1.29 billion. Box faces stiff competition from Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox. The company's Box Suites now account for 69% of revenue, whilst it develops AI-driven document tools. Institutional backing remains steady, with 37 hedge funds holding stakes in the second quarter compared to 36 in the first. However, short interest sits at 14.26%, indicating scepticism about the sustainability of Box's recent breakout amongst some market participants.
Caddi + Box: turning managed content into action. Law firms and RIAs use Caddi to extend the value of Box by automating the workflows around their documents: Box is the source of truth, and Caddi agents help teams process content, execute firm-specific workflows, and keep connected systems in sync. Caddi - September 2, 2026 Caddi integrates with Box's Intelligent Content Management platform to automate content-driven workflows. Firms that manage their documents securely in Box can train Caddi agents on the work that surrounds those documents, the way they would train a new hire, and then let the agents execute those workflows consistently and transparently. Business documents often arrive through email, e-signature platforms, and client portals. Once they are saved in Box, Caddi can support additional workflow steps such as applying metadata, extracting key information, updating a CRM or matter-management system, and notifying the right people. Caddi helps automate these downstream workflows while Box remains the trusted system for managing and securing the underlying content. "In legal, the problem has never been a lack of information, it's that the information firms already have is scattered across emails, attachments, matters, and disconnected systems. That fragmentation makes it harder to turn institutional knowledge into something the firm can actually use. By securely connecting Caddi's agents with Box, firms can bring automation directly to their enterprise content, organizing and governing information while creating a trusted foundation for AI to put that knowledge to work." Tara Daisy, Managing Director of Legal at Box Together, Box and Caddi create a connected content workflow. Box provides the secure content foundation, collaboration capabilities, permissions, and governance, while Caddi agents work with that content to execute firm-specific processes, extract information, and keep related systems aligned. A few of the agents its customers run today: * Signed-document workflows. When an executed agreement is saved to Box, the agent applies the firm's metadata, updates the related CRM record, and notifies the owner. * Account opening. The agent reads account-opening paperwork managed in Box, extracts the required details, and creates the linked household, person, and new-account records in the CRM. * Content organization. On a nightly schedule, the agent can help apply naming conventions, identify duplicate copies, and route documents under the firm's filing rules. RIAs especially feel this. Custodian paperwork, new account forms, and signed agreements move through an advisory firm every day, and each one may trigger important follow-up work across the CRM and portfolio system after it is securely managed in Box. Law firms see the same pattern with engagement letters and matter documents. In both cases the division of labor is clean: Box is where content is managed, secured, and collaborated on, and Caddi provides the agents that help organizations put that content to work through consistent, repeatable, and logged workflows.
