Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role
  • 2 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipeline design, development, and maintenance
  • 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Python or SQL
  • 2 years of experience building distributed systems at scale with continuous deployment and test automation
  • 1 year of experience with AWS platforms
  • 1 year of experience utilizing back-end development technologies including Microsoft SQL Server and Scala
  • 1 year of experience designing and implementing multiple ELT data pipelines using Clover ETL, Spark, and AWS Glue
Responsibilities
  • Build applications that maintain a high bar of quality
  • Take proactive steps to protect against quality issues through testing techniques
  • Improve project quality via code contributions and long-term advocacy for large-scale changes
  • Deliver customer value through rapid prototyping and data-driven decision making
  • Design and implement multiple ELT data pipelines using Airflow, Kubernetes, Python, DBT, and Snowflake
  • Deliver data to analysts for dashboards visualizing data in Looker
  • Support stakeholders from various teams within the company
  • Make proposals and initiatives to improve the team’s development process
  • Work with teams across the company to define BI and analytics requirements
  • Develop data models to feed dashboards for internal and client-facing analytics
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to incidents and issues during non-business hours
