About the job
- Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Fundamental understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities, including OWASP.
- Knowledge of programming concepts and basic scripting capabilities.
- Basic understanding of API concepts and system integration.
- Assess and validate incoming vulnerability reports from security researchers, working with senior team members to determine severity and impact.
- Contribute to vulnerability triage and root cause analysis under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Document findings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Analyse vulnerability trends and patterns within systems.
- Support the maintenance and development of APIs for integrating the bug bounty platform, JIRA, and other external systems under supervision.
- Assist with data cleansing processes and develop scripts for data transformation.
- OSCP certification or programming experience.
- Internship experience in IT security, software development, or a related field.
