Requirements
  • Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensure in any United States state or territory.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations of patients in clinic and inpatient units.
  • Assist the Plastic Surgeon in the operating room and during procedures.
  • Manage wound care, suture removal, dressing changes, and minor procedures.
  • Document patient encounters in the electronic health record using CPRS within 72 hours.
  • Assist with scheduling, care coordination, and patient education.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of patient encounters and follow-ups.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience working in a surgical or plastic surgery setting is preferred.
