Ridwell focuses on the collection and recycling of hard-to-recycle items like plastic film, batteries, light bulbs, and threads, which are often thrown away due to limited recycling options. The service is designed for environmentally conscious households, offering door-to-door collection every two weeks, making recycling more convenient. Clients subscribe to the service for a regular fee, and Ridwell partners with vetted organizations to ensure the collected waste is recycled or reused properly. Unlike many waste management services, Ridwell specifically targets items that are typically difficult to recycle, aiming to reduce landfill waste and foster a culture of sustainability. The company's goal is to minimize waste in landfills and encourage recycling and reuse within the community.
