Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution, computerized maintenance management, quality, and inventory systems.
  • Translate manufacturing workflows into software configurations.
  • Integrate machines, weighbridges, scanners, and programmable logic controller data with software platforms.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between production, stores, quality control, finance, and dispatch.
  • Map current processes and design optimized digital workflows.
  • Digitize production reporting, scrap and yield tracking, furnace and machine logs, maintenance schedules, quality checks, and traceability.
  • Eliminate manual registers and Excel-based reporting.
  • Design dashboards for overall equipment effectiveness, yield and recovery, energy consumption, downtime and root causes, and cost per kilogram or unit.
  • Work with management to define key performance indicators and the management information system structure.
  • Coordinate with enterprise resource planning vendors, system integrators, and automation partners.
  • Own timelines, testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
  • Control implementation costs and scope creep.
  • Train shop-floor supervisors, engineers, and managers.
  • Drive adoption across departments.
  • Act as a bridge between operators and software teams.
  • Work with information technology on networks, servers, cloud systems, backups, and cybersecurity.
  • Work with operational technology teams on programmable logic controller data access, machine connectivity, and sensor integrations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in metals, casting, machining, or process industries.
  • Exposure to programmable logic controllers, supervisory control and data acquisition, or the Internet of Things.
  • Python, Power BI, or low-code tools.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience, or an industrial engineering background.
