Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in frontend development, particularly in high-traffic, consumer-facing applications.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Solid understanding of browser internals, web performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with back-end services.
  • Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js, Nuxt.js).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and modern API paradigms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating user-friendly, pixel-perfect interfaces.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of build tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and mobile-first principles.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to implement responsive and accessible web applications for Apple’s Online Store.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user engagement, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of users globally.
  • Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser compatibility issues, and ensure code quality through peer reviews and testing.
  • Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and contribute to enhancing the online store’s frontend architecture.
  • Ensure the highest standards in security, accessibility, and design fidelity.
