THE WORK:
- You’ll assist schedulers with program schedule updates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams to ensure accurate and timely updates.
- You’ll analyze project schedules for proper use of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports to ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple projects.
- You’ll perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) checks on Primavera P6 (P6) schedules, validating logic ties and ensuring adherence to scheduling guidelines for various project types.
- You’ll conduct QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals, ensuring conformance with contract scope, terms, and conditions for compliance with project specifications.
- You’ll review project drawings to determine scope of work, identifying activities that are in or out of scope to ensure alignment with project requirements and contract terms.
- You’ll assess whether time extensions are compensable or non-compensable, analyzing contract terms to determine merit and impact on project schedules.
- You’ll perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify project constraints and potential delays, ensuring timely project completion within specified deadlines.
- You’ll conduct Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis to track project performance, comparing planned vs. actual progress and identifying areas of concern.
- You’ll assist the scheduling team in reporting project status, performance metrics, and schedule updates, providing stakeholders with accurate and clear information.
- You’ll support senior schedulers in maintaining and updating project schedules, ensuring coordination and alignment with project goals, timelines, and contractual obligations.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Minimum of one (1) year full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience in an educational facility or public works projects
- Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification or related certificates
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
- Superior organizational and planning skills
