About the Job

Requirements

  • Have 5–7 years of experience in partner management, alliances, partner operations, channel, or business development at a B2B software-as-a-service company or cloud provider.
  • Have a track record of partner-driven pipeline and be able to describe specific opportunities sourced and registered through partnerships and personal contributions to advancing them.
  • Have experience across different relationship types, including partnerships monetized in different ways and partnerships that operate differently from one another.
  • Demonstrate commercial fluency by structuring and negotiating terms suited to each relationship, understanding partner economics, and discussing those economics credibly.
  • Show technical curiosity by reading software documentation, understanding billing and usage-data flows through integrations, discussing product use cases, running credible demonstrations, and engaging effectively with partner technical teams; production coding is not required.
  • Have hands-on experience with the Amazon Web Services partner ecosystem or demonstrated ability to master a hyperscaler alliance program quickly.
  • Have built or run agentic or automated workflows with artificial intelligence tools, such as Claude or comparable tools, and be able to describe what was automated and what the automation enabled.
  • Exercise strategic judgment about ecosystems and form defensible partnership priorities based on product fit, capability, and market trajectory.
  • Have working proficiency in Salesforce, including reports, opportunity hygiene, and partner-related fields.
  • Demonstrate exceptional follow-through and use systems to track work and meet follow-up commitments.
  • Have strong written communication skills for concise asynchronous updates, partner-facing emails, and enablement content.
  • Be willing to travel approximately 20–30% for partner meetings, enablement sessions, field events, and industry conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Own a diverse portfolio of partners and evaluate relationships for their potential to drive growth, improve customer outcomes, and move quickly.
  • Source and qualify new partners, conduct outreach, manage program applications, and facilitate commercial negotiations; structure each relationship around its potential value, make the internal case, and secure agreements.
  • Promote partnerships across the ecosystem, customer base, and open pipeline to identify joint-selling opportunities; help partners identify Finout opportunities in their accounts, support partners through deals, and ensure sourced and influenced activity is registered, tracked, and credited correctly.
  • Connect co-selling knowledge to sales enablement and workflow optimization to accelerate pipeline through Amazon Web Services and partner co-sell programs, collaborating closely with sales.
  • Repair underperforming partnerships or retire them when they fail to produce results.
  • Work across partner sourcing and negotiation, joint solution development, hyperscaler alliance mechanics, delivery and implementation strategy, partner marketing and field events, marketplace economics, and partner operations in Salesforce.
  • Extend the team's AI-assisted workflows so operational mechanics scale, and recommend and build efficient partner and co-sell workflows using available AI tools.
  • Work directly with the Vice President of Partners and Alliances, the partner team, and cross-functional colleagues in sales, customer success, and product to drive growth through partners.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a cloud, DevOps, data, or FinOps ecosystem is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with co-sell tools such as Labra, WorkSpan, or Tackle, or with a partner relationship management system, is a plus.
