Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Execute sales and distribution objectives through monthly planning, preparation, accurate tracking, and communication.
  • Prepare presentations, sales data, and proposals to support sales goals, new distribution, and product features.
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of national and local market and industry trends.
  • Participate in supplier sales calls, market blitzes, event preparations, and recaps.
  • Execute the six Standards of Performance—distribution, price, cold box, promotion, point-of-sale, and quality—daily and consistently.
  • Manage retail inventory and orders to minimize out-of-stocks and ensure product integrity.
  • Establish and maintain professional customer relationships through a daily call schedule.
  • Identify and resolve customer matters professionally and promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for growth in the assigned account territory.
  • Maintain CDC accounts receivable policies in assigned accounts.
  • Educate retail customers on brands through staff training, presentations, or promotions.
  • Conduct routine inventory and quality compliance checks on all assigned accounts.
  • Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
  • Adhere to all CDC safety policies, procedures, and training.
  • Follow all operating and accounting procedures, including collection of payment in assigned accounts.
  • Attend sales, company, supplier, and team meetings.
  • Understand and comply with quality assurance guidelines and quality policies of Molson Coors, New Belgium, and CDC.
  • Manage the proper quality rotation schedule so that only in-code products are sold within the assigned account territory.
  • Maintain assigned tools and equipment.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager or channel manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience within the consumer product industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the three-tiered distribution system is preferred.

Molson Coors beats estimates despite 3% revenue drop and commodity headwinds

Molson Coors shares rose slightly over 1% on Thursday after releasing second-quarter earnings that beat analyst expectations. The beer company reported net sales of just under $3.1 billion, a 3% year-over-year decline, and adjusted net income of nearly $279 million ($1.58 per share), down from over $412 million the previous year. Despite the decline, both figures exceeded analyst estimates of $3.09 billion in revenue and $1.52 per share. The company cited volume declines and commodity price increases as key challenges. Molson Coors maintained its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting net sales between 1% lower and 1% higher than 2025, with adjusted earnings per share falling 11% to 15%.
