Requirements
  • A master's degree or higher from an accredited institution with coursework in nursing, education, or administration.
  • A current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in California.
  • At least three years of leadership experience in a nursing education program or related discipline.
  • At least three years of experience as full-time faculty in a pre- or post-licensure nursing program.
  • At least one year of experience teaching in an online or hybrid learning environment.
  • At least four years of continuous full-time experience, or equivalent, as a Registered Nurse providing direct patient care within the past five years.
  • The ability to analyze data and apply findings to program improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • The ability to organize and manage time in a deadline-driven environment.
  • The ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing responsibilities.
  • The ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be physically present in the office unless otherwise noted.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • The ability to complete employment verification, a background check, and required official transcript submission before hire.
Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate daily operations of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, including student advisement and clinical education oversight.
  • Partner with the Program Director to align program goals with institutional priorities and accreditation standards.
  • Contribute to continuous program evaluation and improvement through data analysis and outcome tracking.
  • Support faculty recruitment, onboarding, development, and evaluation in accordance with institutional and accreditation guidelines.
  • Provide guidance to faculty to ensure effective instruction and student engagement.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum in alignment with Board of Registered Nursing and institutional standards.
  • Support shared governance processes related to curriculum updates and improvements.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across course delivery, clinical instruction, and learning outcomes.
  • Monitor student performance, progression, and program outcomes.
  • Support strategies to improve retention, completion, and NCLEX performance.
  • Promote effective use of ATI resources and data-driven interventions.
  • Ensure adherence to institutional policies and accreditation requirements.
  • Support preparation of reports, documentation, and communications with accrediting agencies.
  • Monitor program materials and publications for compliance and accuracy.
