Requirements
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold conditions and perform frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and manual handling.
  • Three to five years of experience in receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, and/or warehouse operations is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining adequate supply levels in the Distribution Center.
  • Communicate low and out-of-stock items and daily work status to the supervisor.
  • Perform receiving, stocking, order filling, and shipping of supplies.
  • Handle and package orders properly.
  • Rotate stock during the put-away process so that the oldest product is consumed first.
  • Assist other departments with product information and provide customer service.
  • Perform receiving functions according to established procedures.
  • Process vendor returns according to established procedures.
  • Perform order entry and product credits according to established procedures.
  • Load supplies, transport carts, and equipment; receive, stock, pick, and deliver supplies; prepare, record, and ship return materials to vendors.
  • Operate electric and manual material-handling equipment.
Desired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior computer experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, and/or warehouse operations.
