Requirements
  • A master’s degree is required with at least three years of work experience in accounting, budget execution, information technology, financial system requirements and analysis, financial planning and reporting, auditing, and internal financial controls.
  • BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent) plus approximately four years of related experience.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Must have strong presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization (Employment Authorization) by the U.S. Government’s designated Security Office.
  • Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Strong understanding of federal government business operations and work processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools; ability to use email; and security clearance prerequisites.
  • Location: CONUS/OCONUS Washington, D.C.
  • Candidates must be able to use a computer to communicate via email.
Responsibilities
  • Support capital planning and investment control activities.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review and consolidation of client information systems, budgets, acquisitions and business plans.
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and business plans through periodic review of financial reports and capital appropriation requests.
  • Provide assistance for proposing, implementing and enforcing policies, standards and methodologies.
  • Support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution of assigned work functions.
  • Provide management support to collect, evaluate and test financial data for recurring department processes and reviews; summarize issues and findings clearly.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with various field offices to identify and correct data gaps, financial discrepancies and errors.
  • Work with a variety of information technology systems to provide multi-functional Enterprise Services Staff Support Services.
  • Provide acquisition support for all bureaus with functional areas including information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support and administrative support.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have strong presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to support standard Department services.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA) preferred.
