JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Center for the Preforming Arts in the College of Arts and Architecture is seeking applicants for part-time front-of-house event team members.

Job duties to include:

Welcoming and directing patrons
Lobby and event space set-up,
Scanning tickets for entry,
Assuring patron safety
Assisting with volunteer usher management
Providing the best possible customer service experience for visitors.

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

Successful candidates must be current Penn State students who have or wish to develop excellent communication and customer service skills.
Resume required, cover letter optional

Schedule:

This position requires evening hours and some weekends
Hours vary and schedules are determined based on the weekly event schedule.

Compensation The starting rate for this job is $15/hour.
