Senior Revenue Accountant @ Anduril

SUMMARY / ABOUT THE JOB
As the Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring that that the revenue and components of cost of revenue are recorded timely and accurately on the income statement. You will partner with FP&A to ensure that the gross margins on individual contracts makes sense and that you can articulate the story around where the numbers are landing. This is a critical role in a high growth company that is constantly growing and changing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Communicate with PMs and cross function teams to confirm revenue recognition.
Prepare or review month end revenue journal entries and reconciliations.
Update revenue schedules to reflect accurate revenue recognition timing.
Verify proof of delivery and obtain appropriate documentation.
Run monthly gross margin analysis for various contracts to ensure revenue matching principle.
Collaborate with billings team to invoice timely.
Provide journal entry support for the external audits.
Continuously improve revenue processes in order to reduce month end close timeline.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Accounting or related field
4+ years experience with GL and/or revenue
Some Industry (non-public accounting) experience is preferred for this role
Ability to operate in fast paced environment
Excellent in Excel
Experience with large scale ERPs
On-site in Costa Mesa, CA

US Salary Range

$90,000—$135,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
