About the job
- Extensive experience developing enterprise-scale n-tier applications in the financial domain.
- Good architectural knowledge and awareness of enterprise application design patterns.
- Good development experience with relational database management systems, preferably Sybase.
- Good knowledge of multithreading and high-volume server-side development.
- Experience with sales and trading platforms in investment banking or capital markets.
- Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to express design ideas and thoughts.
- Analyze, design, develop, and test complex, low-latency, client-facing applications.
- Some scripting experience with Perl or shell.
- Experience with .NET, C#, Windows Presentation Foundation, and web development.
