Requirements
  • A high school diploma and 10 or more years of experience, an Associate's degree and 8 or more years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of experience is required.
  • An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance and willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph are required.
  • Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructure for desktop application packaging and deployment technologies is required.
  • Knowledge of Citrix XenApp, AppLayering, and Enterprise Layer Manager is required.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Clustering Failover is required.
  • Knowledge of cloud, networking, and enterprise architectures is required.
  • Expertise with Windows 10/11 Standard Operating Environment, imaging, and evergreen practices is required.
  • Experience with Remote Desktop Services on Windows Server 2019/2022 is required.
  • Ability to deploy Azure Virtual Desktop on Windows Server 2019/2022 is required.
  • The CWS-215: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Administration On-Premises and in Citrix Cloud certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Engineer, design, test, implement, maintain, secure, and manage the full life cycle of complex Citrix XenDesktop and NetScaler solutions in a large enterprise environment.
  • Design and support Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Interact with government stakeholders regarding technical considerations for problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Engineer, implement, mitigate, monitor, and tune VDI environments and management software to obtain Authority to Operate for new VDI solutions.
  • Manage Citrix products, including Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, ADC, and Provisioning.
  • Manage Azure products, including Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Operate and execute scripting using PowerShell or Python.
  • Provide Tier 3 and above support, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for VDI solutions, processes, and procedures related to engineering projects.

  • Managing Modern Desktops (MD-101) certification.
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (1Y0-312) certification.
  • Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop certification.
