Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan origination is required.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and guidelines is required.
- Proficiency in loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- An NMLS license is required.
- The role requires the ability to stand and walk for four hours continuously or up to a full eight-hour day, sit for extended periods, kneel and bend at the waist, use stairs, walk on uneven terrain, use hands for handling tasks, reach with the hands and arms, talk and hear, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- The role requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
Responsibilities
- Provide application and documentation support to assigned Loan Officers.
- Request, receive, and organize income, asset, and employment documentation.
- Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare clear and concise loan summaries for assigned Loan Officers.
- Review Initial Closing Disclosures, including Loan Estimates and early disclosures, for accuracy and alignment with approved loan terms.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Provide customer service throughout the loan process.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
- Use discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
