  • Field-verify contractors’ compliance with environmental Best Management Practices (BMPs) under permits and construction plans.
  • Before all backfills, HDD pull-throughs, or jack-and-bores, visually inspect pipe coatings for noticeable defects and inspect pipe for gouges, dents, or other imperfections.
  • Before lowering pipe into a trench or pulling it back through an HDD path, verify all pipe has been jeeped and holidays have been properly repaired.
  • After field-applied pipe coatings cure, verify they meet Company mil-thickness and manufacturer hardness specifications.
  • When shrink sleeves or similar products are used to protect weld joints, verify they are inspected for proper installation.
