  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in revenue accounting or related fields.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills, Netsuite experience is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, start-up environment ​​and thrives on challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
  • Review and analyze contracts for proper revenue recognition treatment.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports.
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure all revenue-related accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, identify and correct errors and prepare reconciliation for management review on a monthly basis.
  • Review customer invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support Billing to identify billing errors, resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries related to billing and revenue.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Perform revenue analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed revenue reports and present findings to management.
  • Work closely with sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to ensure accurate revenue reporting and resolve issues.
  • Provide support to other finance team members as needed.
