Internship: Supply Chain

As part of our small, passionate, team, you will help us develop corporate and business unit strategy and support the execution of our growth initiatives. Interns will work closely on projects with our business units New Shepard, New Glenn, Blue Engines, and Advanced Development Programs by providing analytical support to inform leadership decision-making. Projects may be within the field of Integrated Supply Chain. This internship will last 15 weeks (September-December).
Responsibilities may include:
- Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting metrics to drive performance.
- Lead key business analytics initiatives.
- Identify and implement cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
- Develop procurement and material strategies to meet business priorities.
- Analyze Supply Base trends to optimize strategic sourcing for operations.
- Complete cost tradeoff analysis on strategic decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or MBA program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
- Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
- Aptitude for cross-functional teamwork with shown potential for leadership.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
Desired:
- MBA student with undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or other highly analytical field.
- Undergraduate or Graduate student in Supply Chain, Operations, Systems Engineering, or other related field.
- Demonstrated leadership or management experience in a professional setting.
- Understanding of the private space industry.
