  • High school diploma or GED required; two-year degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong/active listening, verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Strong computer skills
Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer phone calls and take appropriate action for each call
  • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, understand every issue, and provide solutions
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
  • Keep records of all conversations in our database in a comprehensible way
  • Use company policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or if that issue requires managerial input
  • Willingness to expand knowledge and take on other duties as assigned
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
