Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of credentialing experience.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and review provider files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, guidelines, policies, and standards.
  • Monitor provider files to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct research on updated state and federal regulations and policies.
  • Coordinate and review provider security and background check documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, guidelines, policies, and standards.
  • Prepare, issue, electronically track, and follow up on appropriate verifications with providers as related to the security process.
  • Prepare and provide information to internal and external customers, as appropriate.
  • Enter, update, and maintain data from provider files in the credentialing database in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, issue, electronically track, and follow up on appropriate verifications with providers.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements related to credentialing and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze reports and data and clearly communicate findings and results.
  • Communicate with providers and their liaisons to provide timely responses to day-to-day credentialing and privileging matters.
  • Support multiple team members and projects simultaneously and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or associate degree.
  • Prior government contracting experience.
  • Previous experience navigating federal background investigation requirements, particularly Department of Veterans Affairs requirements.
