Requirements
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Effective communication skills. Bi-lingual not required but preferred.
  • Flooring installation experience; including and preferred with POWERBOND, woven, and tufted broadloom.
  • Professional, respectful, honest, reliable, strong work ethic desired.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Preference for candidates based out of Southern California, Las Vegas, or Texas.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Support via in-person contact, as well as telephone and E-mail communications (Product, Installation, Site Conditions, Maintenance, etc).
  • Significant amount of troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Conduct Claim Inspections and Technical Evaluations in the field (Involves travel to jobsites throughout the western United States and Western Canada, and potentially outside of North America on rare occasion).
  • Submit detailed reports within 48 hours including key observations/facts, photographs, collection of samples and applicable evidence.
  • Product Installation of SOFT surface materials (Carpet tile, POWERBOND, broadloom) for trade Show E.g. NeoCon, Mock-ups, Field Testing, tip sheet videos, etc
  • Conduct training sessions and seminars. Involves hands-on installation demonstration and speaking/presenting in front of an audience.
  • Conduct POWERBOND and broadloom certification tests (written and practical exam) that are pass or fail for the students.
  • Manage the logistics of that and submit paperwork to the corporate office for certification of those students who pass the test.
  • 50% - 75% travel with Tarkett Account Executives on customer visits to provide technical support on a sales call.

Tarkett Increases Buy-Out Offer to €17

Tarkett Participation has increased its public buy-out offer for Tarkett shares from €16 to €17 per share, representing a premium of 40.6% and 46.1% over the 20 and 60-day average share prices, respectively, and a 25.5% premium over the last closing price before the offer on February 20, 2025. The Supervisory Board and an independent expert have endorsed the offer as fair, recommending shareholders tender their shares. The offer is subject to AMF review.
