Veolia has completed a €1.15 billion senior bond offering across two tranches. The issuance comprises €650 million with a four-year maturity at a 3.678% coupon and €500 million with an eight-year maturity at a 4.088% coupon.
The transaction attracted over 250 orders totalling €3.4 billion. The public services group said the substantial oversubscription, investor quality and favourable terms reflect positive market perception of Veolia's credit profile and international growth prospects, as well as its financial strength.
Veolia Environnement reported revenue of €22.93 billion for the first half of 2026, up 1.5% at constant scope and foreign exchange, excluding energy prices. The company's EBITDA reached €3.55 billion, rising 5% with margins improving by 70 basis points to 16%.
Current net income grew 10.4% at constant scope and forex, whilst net free cash flow improved by €164 million compared to the same period in 2025. The company achieved €195 million in efficiency gains during the period.

Revenue growth in water technology faced temporary delays in the Middle East due to geopolitical tensions.
Veolia Environnement has launched a €400 million offering of non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due January 2032. The bonds will be offered exclusively to qualified institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuilding process.

Concurrently, Veolia will purchase cash-settled call options to hedge its exposure.
The company intends to use proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing the options. BNP Paribas and Natixis serve as joint global coordinators, with BofA Securities, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley as joint bookrunners. Veolia plans to list the bonds on Euronext Access within 30 days.

Natixis served as joint global coordinator and joint bookrunner for the transaction, marking the firm's fourth convertible bond of the year. The net proceeds will refinance an outstanding convertible bond due in 2021.
The issuance demonstrates investor confidence in Veolia's financial stability following its integration of Suez and ongoing business portfolio transformation. The transaction supports the company's GreenUp strategic plan focused on sustainable growth and ecological transformation.
