Birdy Grey, the direct-to-consumer bridal brand, has appointed Anthony Potgieter as its first Chief Growth Officer. Potgieter brings over 20 years of experience scaling consumer brands, most recently serving as Senior Director of E-Commerce at Stanley 1913, where he helped drive nine-figure revenue growth. In his previous roles, Potgieter led DTC e-commerce at travel brand Evolve and scaled Wyze's DTC business from zero to $200 million in two years. At Birdy Grey, he will oversee marketing, brand, digital product, partnerships and customer experience, focusing on expanding reach and accelerating revenue growth. The appointment follows the 2025 hiring of retail veteran Jill Layfield as CEO. Founded in 2017, Birdy Grey has dressed over one million bridesmaids with affordable dresses starting at $89.
