Requirements
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development credential is required.
- One year of full-time experience working with individuals receiving treatment services for a behavioral health disorder is required.
- A valid driver's license and two years of driving experience are required.
- The candidate must be conscientious and dependable, have good computer, communication, organizational, and time-management skills, work well with other staff, and be able to work independently.
- The employee must maintain all required training and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Teach clients to utilize and access community resources, adhere to medications, develop interpersonal and behavioral support skills, cope with crises, regulate emotions, access transportation, budget and manage finances, and shop independently in the community.
- Complete documentation in the electronic medical record within 24 hours of service delivery.
- Conduct activities that enable individuals to live with maximum independence in the community.
- Enhance community living through skills training, cueing, or supervision identified in recipients' treatment plans.
- Participate in therapeutic rehabilitation and 1915(i) RISE services as needed.
- Provide services meeting applicable 908 KAR 2:250 requirements and Medicaid H2015 billing requirements.
