As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, engineers, you will support the Tooling Engineering team in all aspects of tooling commissioning, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and life-cycle management engineering. The Maintenance & Reliability Engineer (MRE) will lead interdisciplinary teams to devise and implement systemic solutions for operational and technical issues, as well as provide strong technical support to assess the root cause of failures. The MRE ensures that required methodologies, such as criticality analysis, RCA, RCM, FMEA, and spare parts studies, are available and facilitates related workshops. The MRE will conduct thorough root cause analysis that involve mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing, implementing, and managing predictive and preventive maintenance, inspection, and overhaul plans, as well as troubleshooting and providing technical support.
- Reviewing and controlling preventive maintenance and inspection plans based on risk analysis and criticality ranking of assets to meet business requirements.
- Periodically monitoring asset performance and analysis of performance losses and the effectiveness of current maintenance strategies.
- Assessment of bad actors in terms of safety, reliability, availability, and maintenance cost.
- Developing and maintaining KPI’s and dashboards to measure efficiency of the maintenance team and implementing improvement systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in maintenance or maintenance and reliability within an aerospace, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
- B.S. degree in engineering discipline (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or similar).
- Understanding of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) basic operation.
- Thorough understanding of preventative maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and corrective maintenance processes.
- Expertise troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls problems to identify root cause of failures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proven ability to develop and improve Preventive Maintenance Plans.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to coordinate activities between multiple groups, technical, engineering, and production.
- Able to work safely on the floor in an aerospace production environment.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
- Education in reliability engineering and/or maintenance management.
- Background in Maintenance methodologies (like RCM, FMECA, etc.) and CBM technologies (ultrasound, vibration, infrared).
- Experience implementing CBM (Condition Based Maintenance).
- Experience with IBM Maximo.
