Every technician in the bay depends on the parts counter.
New England Truck Center is hiring a Parts Counter Specialist to be the person who keeps the right parts moving to the right techs at the right time.
When a truck is down and a technician needs a part now, you’re the one who finds it, sources it, and gets it to the bay so the job keeps moving.
You’re the quiet hinge the whole shop swings on.

Keep the bays supplied and the work moving.
🔹 Run our computerized parts catalog and maintain accurate inventory of stock and special-order parts
🔹 Get parts into the hands of service technicians quickly so they can stay productive
🔹 Find the best sources for replacement parts and assemblies and purchase standard items
🔹 Receive and inspect incoming shipments for correct quantity and quality
🔹 Process invoices and maintain clean, accurate records
🔹 Obtain quotes for major purchases and secure approval for non-routine buys
🔹 Stay current on pricing, parts changes, and technical service bulletins
🔹 Work closely with sales and shop staff to anticipate what the team needs next
You don’t need to know everything on day one — but you should be someone who can find the answer and keep things organized.
✓ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
✓ Basic understanding of automotive/diesel parts and mechanical systems
✓ Clear verbal and written communication
✓ Comfortable using computers, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office — or able to learn quickly
✓ Basic math skills for invoicing and inventory
✓ High school diploma or equivalent
Diesel parts department experience or warehouse experience in a fast-moving, highly organized environment.

NETC Fleet Services is a towing and commercial vehicle services group based in Exeter, New Hampshire. It supports commercial fleets and municipalities across New England through established local towing, truck repair and recovery businesses. Its teams recover disabled vehicles, move heavy equipment and provide mobile repairs when trucks cannot reach a workshop. Shop operations handle scheduled maintenance, major repairs and collision work for trucks and trailers, while a dedicated equipment business builds and sells custom wreckers and carriers. The group combines these local operations with shared systems, equipment and service standards so customers can obtain ongoing fleet support as well as emergency assistance.
