  • Ability to maintain, install, and repair pumps, engines, generators, valves, gates, mixers, conveyors, blowers, chemical feed and odor-control equipment, disinfection equipment, vacuum filters, and belt presses.
  • Ability to use precision measuring devices, testing equipment, and shop tools such as a drill press, band saw, bench grinder, and torque wrench.
  • Ability to inspect and diagnose process problems in multiple unit processes and troubleshoot mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
  • Ability to estimate time and material costs for assigned projects.
  • Ability to operate Computerized Maintenance Management System software.
  • Some vocational training and mechanical aptitude are required, including the ability to read, interpret, and record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels, computer consoles, and other equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, work alone, work at heights, enter confined spaces, and lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installation services in plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, carpentry, painting, and vehicle-servicing areas at water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, lubrication, and minor adjustments on plant machines and related equipment.
  • Report operational problems with machines or equipment to the lead or supervisor.
  • Inspect equipment and perform mechanical troubleshooting to determine needed repairs.
  • Dismantle equipment, repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing devices, then reassemble and test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Perform facility maintenance and repair, including replacing or installing bulbs, glass, windows, doors, partitions, tiles, locks, carpet, and paint.
  • Perform manual labor such as filling and emptying machine bins, cleaning equipment and facilities, cleaning grounds, digging, and using hand tools.
  • Operate vehicles for plant operational purposes.
  • Estimate time and material costs for projects.
  • Assist in other areas of the plant as directed.
  • Travel 1–2 times per year for company-provided training and participate in rotational 24-hour emergency on-call coverage when required.

Veolia raises $1.3B in oversubscribed senior bond offering with $3.8B orders

Veolia has completed a €1.15 billion senior bond offering across two tranches. The issuance comprises €650 million with a four-year maturity at a 3.678% coupon and €500 million with an eight-year maturity at a 4.088% coupon. Veolia posts 10.4% net income growth in H1 2026, raises full-year guidance to 8%

Veolia Environnement reported revenue of €22.93 billion for the first half of 2026, up 1.5% at constant scope and foreign exchange, excluding energy prices. The company's EBITDA reached €3.55 billion, rising 5% with margins improving by 70 basis points to 16%. Current net income grew 10.4% at constant scope and forex, whilst net free cash flow improved by €164 million compared to the same period in 2025. The company achieved €195 million in efficiency gains during the period. Veolia completed its acquisition of Cleaners in the United States, which contributed to net financial debt of €24.5 billion. The company raised its full-year 2026 current net income growth guidance to at least 8%, citing strong operational performance and well-controlled financial charges. Revenue growth in water technology faced temporary delays in the Middle East due to geopolitical tensions.

Veolia launches $452M non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due 2032

Veolia Environnement has launched a €400 million offering of non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due January 2032. The bonds will be offered exclusively to qualified institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuilding process. The synthetic convertible bonds offer exposure to Veolia's share performance but will be cash-settled only, without issuing new shares. The bonds will bear an annual interest rate between 0.50% and 0.75%, with a conversion premium of 20% over a reference share price. Concurrently, Veolia will purchase cash-settled call options to hedge its exposure. The company intends to use proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing the options. BNP Paribas and Natixis serve as joint global coordinators, with BofA Securities, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley as joint bookrunners. Veolia plans to list the bonds on Euronext Access within 30 days.

Veolia raises $791M through convertible bond offering to refinance 2021 debt

Enviri spins off New Enviri as standalone public company with $1.2B revenue after Clean Earth sale
