Requirements
  • An active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, Intelligence Community Directives, and sponsor amplifying instructions.
  • Experience in industrial security.
  • Ability to work effectively in environments where communication and organizational skills are crucial.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, for the Advanced Professional classification.
  • Associate degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, for the Intermediate Professional classification.
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance, participate in the Applied Research Laboratory drug testing program, and comply with applicable electronic and physical monitoring requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer local security programs and procedures for classified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment supporting United States Government and Department of Defense programs.
  • Assist with day-to-day Industrial Security Program operations by applying the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, Intelligence Community Directives, and sponsor instructions.
  • Assist with visitor control, safeguarding, classification management, physical security, information system security, security education, access control, alarm testing and maintenance, and personnel security.
  • Assist with developing, reviewing, coordinating, and executing program security documentation, including Fixed Facility Checklists, Standard Operating Procedures, Transportation Plans, Program Access Requests, Emergency Action Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, Continuity of Business Plans, and Document and Media Control.
  • Manage electronic devices and other security items.
  • Assist with opening and closing facilities, conduct end-of-day checks and daily inspections, and provide or coordinate after-hours alarm support.
  • Collaborate with sponsor security staff to ensure program security policies and procedures follow company and customer requirements.
  • Maintain effective communications with customers, security staff, program leads, and department management.
  • Collaborate with other security staff on special projects as required.
  • Escort visitors, including providing support outside normal business hours when required.
  • Assist the local Communications Security account manager with Communications Security policy implementation.
  • Coordinate and support classified conferences and provide visitor management and badging support.
