Requirements
  • 8+ years software development experience
  • 4+ years previous management experience
  • Experience building scalable, high available customer-facing cloud applications
  • Experience building or managing full stack teams
  • Experience building teams including, recruiting and retention
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • AWS or other Cloud experience
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
Responsibilities
  • Focus on team members and coaching them to play to their strengths, grow and deliver peak performance
  • Review team's designs and provide feedback on deployment safety, resilience, scale, performance, and security
  • Guide and mentor team members regarding architecture and best practices
  • Analyze feature sets for market effectiveness and implementation efficiency and performance; promote and facilitate feedback and discussions with Product and Design
  • Create strong partnership with product management and other essential areas of the business
  • Actively participate in recruiting
