Requirements
  • Management experience leading teams of 50+ engineers at large companies or 25+ at startups
  • Execution skills in resource allocation, program planning, and execution
  • Domain skills in neural net understanding/introspection and simulation of embodied/physical systems
  • Engineering skills in code development practices, testing, and serviceability
  • Product delivery skills in roadmap articulation and interface with leadership & business functions
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar experience
Responsibilities
  • Define and own the technical vision, strategy, and metrics for the Evaluation and Validation group
  • Digitise the self-driving problem through simulation to predict and compare on-road performance
  • Build efficient off-road open-loop and closed-loop tools for safety validation
  • Partner with senior leadership to maintain a culture of impact, performance, and health
  • Develop technical capabilities across the division and nurture talented engineers
  • Work with team members to create career plans and growth trajectories
