About the job

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in data science, artificial intelligence/machine learning, analytics, or product engineering, including hands-on delivery of production artificial intelligence or machine learning applications.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, function and tool calling, embeddings, vector stores, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Strong Python and SQL fluency, with experience building and operating production data and inference pipelines end-to-end.
  • Practical expertise with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks, including distributed processing and data modeling.
  • Ability to take artificial intelligence or generative artificial intelligence solutions from concept through prototype to scaled production.
  • Experience diagnosing and fixing data quality, lineage, and governance problems in complex enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of Finance functions such as financial planning and analysis, management reporting, forecasting, and key performance indicator frameworks within asset management, wealth management, or comparable financial services.
  • Proficiency in applied statistics and experimentation design, including measuring business impact and communicating findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
Responsibilities
  • Lead research and rapid prototyping of emerging artificial intelligence capabilities, including agentic workflows, multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, and advanced forecasting, and convert validated proofs of concept into production-grade products on a defined timeline.
  • Maintain a rolling 6–12 month innovation pipeline by identifying, evaluating, and experimenting with new models, frameworks, and techniques so the team has a next release in development.
  • Architect, build, and scale large language model agents and artificial intelligence-driven solutions for Finance workflows, integrating them with APIs, microservices, reporting tools, and cloud platforms.
  • Design evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop review processes for each artificial intelligence product from prototype through production.
  • Translate model outputs into user-friendly insights, analytics, and decision-support surfaces for Finance leadership and front office partners.
  • Audit and remediate data quality and lineage gaps across reporting and analytics products so downstream consumers work from a single source of truth.
  • Define and implement a data catalogue strategy by inventorying existing assets, consolidating duplicative pipeline logic, standardizing metric definitions, and establishing clear data contracts.
  • Architect curated and semantic data layers that are consistent, trusted, and reusable across reporting, dashboards, analytics, and artificial intelligence products.
  • Establish data observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, and lineage tracking, so issues surface before reaching end users.
  • Define and own a forward-looking artificial intelligence and data roadmap aligned to Finance priorities and the firm's broader technology direction.
  • Design experimentation and measurement frameworks to quantify the business impact of artificial intelligence products and data quality improvements, and communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and results to senior leaders through clear narratives and data-driven recommendations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building multi-agent systems, autonomous workflows, or task planners using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
  • Hands-on experience building generative artificial intelligence products with guardrails, evaluation harnesses, and human-in-the-loop review grounded in approved internal sources.
  • Experience designing and governing semantic layers, metric stores, and data observability frameworks that support business intelligence and artificial intelligence consumption.
  • Track record of designing and operationalizing experimentation programs, including A/B testing and causal measurement, to quantify product and data initiatives.
  • Knowledge of model safety, bias mitigation, privacy techniques, and artificial intelligence governance frameworks in financial services.
  • Familiarity with modern business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot.
  • Prior experience in a Finance transformation or technology function supporting front office or investment management.

About the company

JPMorgan Chase runs the largest bank in the United States, which serves households and small businesses as Chase and large companies, governments, and investors as J.P. Morgan. During the 2008 financial crisis it bought the failing investment bank Bear Stearns and lender Washington Mutual, and in 2023 it took over First Republic Bank after regulators seized it. Chase takes deposits and earns interest on credit cards, mortgages, and car loans, while the investment side earns fees for advising on mergers, raising money for companies, trading stocks and bonds, and managing wealth. Formed in a 2000 merger, JPMorgan Chase traces its roots to 1799 and is based in New York City.

Dimon poached Buffett's protégé Todd Combs to run $10B fund; Buffett: "at least he's going to you

JPMorgan Chase chief executive Jamie Dimon hired Todd Combs, a former Geico chief executive and Berkshire Hathaway investment manager, to lead a $10 billion investment group. Combs joined in December 2025 under the bank's Security and Resiliency Initiative, which aims to help companies accelerate manufacturing. Speaking at a US Chamber of Commerce event in January, Dimon said he called Warren Buffett personally. Buffett "probably wouldn't have preferred it, but he said, 'if he's going anywhere, at least he's going to you,'" Dimon said. Buffett's assistant confirmed the account. Combs had been at Berkshire since 2010 and sat on JPMorgan's board for nine years. His group has already committed $5 billion of its $10 billion allocation.

JPMorgan Chase closing Design District branch near Dallas Market Center - what you need to know - dallas365.info. Impact on local businesses and customers: navigating the end of in-person banking at the Design District. JPMorgan Chase has revealed plans to discontinue operations at its Design District branch near the Dallas Market Center, signaling a major change in the bank's footprint within the area. This decision has raised concerns among local entrepreneurs and residents who depend on face-to-face banking services for their daily financial needs. Retailers and office tenants in this vibrant commercial hub often rely on the branch for essential activities such as cash deposits, immediate transaction support, and personalized financial advice - services that many find challenging to replicate through digital channels alone. Business owners worry that the closure could introduce operational hurdles, especially for those less familiar with online banking platforms. The loss of direct interaction with banking professionals may complicate tasks that require nuanced understanding or swift... - - Author: Miles Cooper Publish date: 2026-10-23 23:42:00 Copyright for syndicated content belongs to the linked Source. - - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8

JP Morgan sees emerging market weight loss drug sales hitting $22B by 2035

JP Morgan expects weight-loss drug sales in China, India, and Brazil to reach $22 billion by 2035, up from $6.6 billion today. Usage remains low: below 0.1% in China and under 0.2% in India, against 4% to 5% in the US. Cost has been the main barrier. JP Morgan says patent cliffs, generic launches, and policy-driven price cuts are making the drugs more affordable. It expects China to pass Brazil by 2027 and reach $13.7 billion by 2035, versus $8 billion for Brazil. India is the smallest market, held back by hesitancy around injections. Eli Lilly, which said it holds about 55% of the international incretin market, stands to gain. Its China revenue grew 93% in constant currency, and it raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $85 billion to $87 billion.
