Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of testing experience
Proficient in coding in Java, C#, or Golang, or scripting languages like JavaScript or Python
Experience with testing frameworks such as TestCafe, Protractor, Robot Framework, Playwright, and tools like Cypress
Experience working with databases and writing SQL queries

Testing and automating complex API and web applications
Collaborating with developers to create test plans and test cases
Reviewing product specifications and technical documentation for automated tests
Developing and maintaining automated test scripts
Reporting, reproducing, debugging, and verifying fixes
Deriving functional and non-functional test requirements
Creating test processes and procedures to ensure software operates within defined requirements

Koddi is looking for a QA engineer to find bugs in code before they have a chance to cripple our operations. As a QA engineer, you will work in a challenging and growing environment, and contribute to the company culture.

What you will do

Proficient in completing tasks independently with minimal supervision in an Agile setting
Capable of testing and automating complex API and web applications that reference backend database systems.
Collaborate closely with developers to create software artifacts including test plans and test cases
Actively participate in reviewing product specifications and technical documentation to build automated tests
Possess experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing
Skillful in reporting, reproducing, debugging, isolating problems, and verifying fixes.
Collaborate with the engineering team to derive functional and non-functional test requirements throughout the development cycle
Demonstrate expertise in creating test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 6+ years of testing experience
Proficient in coding in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Golang or in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python
You have experience testing frameworks such as TestCafe, Protractor, Robot Framework, Playwright and tools such as Cypress for UI testing
You have experience working with databases and writing queries in SQL
Proficient in testing REST APIs
