The role

SoFi is looking for someone data-driven and self-motivated who believes in our mission of helping people achieve their financial ambitions to join our Member Business Unit (Group Business Unit focsued on delivering on our promise to help our 6M+ members (and growing!_ achieve finacial independence. In this role you will be part of the Relay Insights & Actions Team, which is the top driver of growth into SoFi via Personal Financial Management tools that help 2M+ members understand their finances and take actions to Get Their Money Right. The candidate will have the leadership, maturity, and experience in delivering pragmatic solutions and data-driven insights in a high growth, dynamic environment. This role requires strong critical problem solving, project and program management, analytical, collaboration, and leadership skills across functions and businesses to be successful. 

What you’ll do:

• Develop and execute on a strategy for how we can utilize the financial data (e.g. transactions, credit report, engagement patterns) to derive insights that help our members understand their finances increasing our members engagement & retention  to ultimately drive Life Time Value (LTV) & monetization
• Partner closely with product, lifecycle, content,  fincial advisors, legal & compliance  to craft a strategy & roadmap to help guide our members to what they must, could and should do to improve their fianncial situation. Outline key dependencies, constraints, assumptions, risks and ultimately see through execution, measurement and ongoing iteration. 
• Develop and provide ongoing business performance reporting to share key insights and opportunities to drive the business in support of SoFi’s mission 

What you’ll need:

• Passion for our mission of helping people achieve their financial goals 
• Strong analytical chops:  Advanced proficiency in data analytics, and tools such as Google Suite and MS Office applications. You have a keen attention to detail and a strong grasp of numbers to know when data is off or needs additional digging.
• A data-driven story teller:  You know how to use data to lead you to the answer, with a keen ability to distill complex information clearly, in a way that brings people along. Strong written, through presentations and verbal communications. 
• You can juggle multiple priorities, and wear many hats:  You are comfortable switching contexts and know how to self-prioritize to focus your limited time on the most impactful work
• A demonstrated an ability to influence & drive cross-functional initiatives with the results and learnings to prove it
• You have a bias towards action: You recognize the bigger picture but do not let that stop you from making progress, identifying quick wins and being scrappy. 
• ~6 years of experience in leading and supporting cross-functional initiatives and projects; successful track record in high growth, dynamic environment
• Product management, management consulting, marketing, or investment banking experience are a plus
• Familiarity with financial services, consumer business, technology in private and/or public companies
