About the Job

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience inside a central securities depository, international central securities depository, or custodian in settlement, issuance, or asset servicing; experience with a TARGET2-Securities migration or digital-securities project is ideal.
  • Deep knowledge of securities settlement, including matching, delivery-versus-payment, finality, and fails, and of the lifecycle from issuance to corporate actions.
  • Understanding of central securities depository regulation notary, central maintenance, and settlement services, and how holdings are recorded across central securities depository, custodian, and investor accounts.
  • Product management, business analysis, or service development experience in securities-market infrastructure, including ownership of a roadmap or backlog.
  • Experience leading initiatives across central securities depositories, custodians, and settlement banks, and agreeing operating models, responsibilities, and controls.
  • Experience running participant market testing and readiness for a central securities depository migration or new service.
  • Exposure to cross-central securities depository links, ISO 20022 settlement messaging, or custodian connectivity.
  • Fluency in English.
  • An interest in digital assets and Web3 is required; prior experience in these areas is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Design digital-asset products and operating models covering securities issuance, custody, settlement, and lifecycle events.
  • Define how central securities depository issuance and settlement work for tokens, including issuance against central securities depository positions, minting and burning, the register as the legal record, and reconciliation of central securities depository books with on-chain supply.
  • Define settlement workflows, including matching, delivery-versus-payment, reconciliation, and exception handling, and determine how central securities depository and TARGET2-Securities processes adapt for tokenised securities.
  • Define asset servicing for tokenised securities, including coupons, redemptions, and corporate actions, and how custodians and linked central securities depositories receive and reconcile it.
  • Work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to address regulatory requirements, settlement finality, asset protection, and operational readiness, including under the Central Securities Depositories Regulation and the Distributed Ledger Technology Pilot Regime.
  • Own a product workstream and its backlog through launch, contribute to roadmap prioritisation alongside the Chief Product Officer, and monitor adoption, settlement performance, and exception rates.

Desired Qualifications

  • Involvement in a central securities depository digital-securities platform, a Distributed Ledger Technology Pilot Regime project, the UK Digital Securities Sandbox, or Eurosystem Distributed Ledger Technology trials.
  • Familiarity with Distributed Ledger Technology-based settlement, digital custody, smart contracts, or digital forms of cash.
  • Knowledge of blockchain, Distributed Ledger Technology, decentralised finance, or cryptocurrency, including familiarity as a user rather than professionally.
  • Experience preparing a Central Securities Depositories Regulation authorisation, Distributed Ledger Technology Pilot Regime application, or other regulatory filing.
  • Knowledge of a Euronext Securities market in Denmark, Italy, Norway, or Portugal.
  • Experience with a TARGET2-Securities migration or a digital-securities project.
