As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering various technical documentation for SambaNova’s external product documentation. This documentation team plays a vital role in customer adoption and making sure our products are clearly understood and easy to use.

The ideal candidate has a technical aptitude that enables effective interaction with Engineers, Technical Writers, Product Managers, and Sales and Customer Engineers. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality technical publications for artificial intelligence.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Create and write various technical style documentation, including user guides, manuals, API reference, tutorials, and best practices, for SambaNova’s various audiences
• Develop and curate technical, Sales and Customer Engineering centric content that enables sales and delivers easy-to-understand end-user documentation
• Produce high-quality documentation and examples for SambaNova products and solutions 
• Study, evaluate and analyze end-user, customer, and sales feedback to update and improve documentation quality
• Manage complex documentation projects, including driving documentation project planning with engineering and product teams, with a focus on maintaining high standards for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness
• Communicate with management and project stakeholders, keeping them informed of project status, including conflicts and resolution plans
• Work as part of a cross-functional engineering, product management, customer, and business team to produce product and enablement documentation
• Cultivate a highly collaborative environment with team members, refining standards, procedures, tools, etc. to help the entire organization successfully deliver content at a consistently high standard

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Technical Writing experience
• Familiarity with AI and ML concepts highly preferred 
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch
• Experience using source control and versioning platforms such as GitHub
• Experience with coding concepts and frameworks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts and articulate it to diverse audiences
• Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish high-quality content
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with shifting priorities
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams to contribute to documentation
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and make independent judgments
