Requirements
  • Expertise in Enterprise Service Bus paradigms and strategies, with direct experience in at least one top-tier Enterprise Service Bus.
  • Expertise in enterprise integration paradigms, patterns, and designs, including major integration projects delivering real-time, batch, application, and data integration solutions.
  • Proficiency in at least one major coding language.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard protocols and formats, including Representational State Transfer, Simple Object Access Protocol, Extensible Markup Language, JavaScript Object Notation, Advanced Message Queuing Protocol, Java Message Service, delimited formats, and Open Authorization.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of messaging principles and experience with a message bus.
  • Deep experience with Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Infrastructure as a Service.
  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language and understanding of relational database management systems and NoSQL models.
  • Ability to report directly to Senior Vice Presidents and above.
  • Ability to serve as the single point of contact for integration and Enterprise Service Bus architecture.
  • Ability to comply with compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley, General Data Protection Regulation, and similar standards.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise project plans, status reports, and issue lists.
  • Ability to function independently, handle project-level issues, and recognize and escalate program-level issues.
  • Ability to work within a predefined budget of time and money.
  • Ability to make hiring and firing recommendations for consultants from the same vendor.
  • Ability to select appropriate integration tools in consultation with the client Enterprise Integration Application department.
  • United States citizenship or United States permanent residency is required.
Responsibilities
  • Establish integration standards and provide leadership to the Enterprise Scheduling project team.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Enterprise Scheduling program and the ViacomCBS Enterprise Integration Application department.
  • Convert complex functional specifications about business problems into programming specifications.
  • Interface with business analysts, project managers, and customers to clarify requirements involving multiple interdependent systems and applications and significant business risk.
  • Analyze, define, and document system requirements, including interfaces and interdependencies with other systems and applications.
  • Perform coding and configuration to meet documented needs using established procedures and techniques.
  • Test personal and colleagues' work, contribute to test plans, and participate in post-implementation reviews.
  • Coordinate with multiple project groups to resolve system issues and advance integration projects.
  • Conduct code reviews for quality and adherence to standards.
