Requirements
  • A high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience in a professional setting.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and document technical and operational information.
  • Familiarity with personally identifiable information and responsible information handling.
  • Ability to follow established templates, procedures, and quality-control standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and related business applications.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy applicable federal background investigation, suitability, or security requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance of privacy threshold analyses, privacy impact assessments, system of records notices, and related privacy documentation.
  • Capture and organize information concerning systems, business processes, data collection, data sharing, user access, retention, and security safeguards.
  • Research system documentation, policies, authorities, and existing privacy materials.
  • Review documents for completeness, consistency, formatting, grammar, and internal quality standards.
  • Track assessments, action items, stakeholder responses, revisions, approvals, and deadlines.
  • Identify missing or conflicting information and elevate questions to senior analysts.
  • Assist with status reports, metrics, inventories, and other program documentation.
  • Protect sensitive information and follow applicable privacy and information-handling requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, information technology, public policy, legal studies, business, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • At least one year of experience, education, or training in privacy or information governance, cybersecurity compliance, Risk Management Framework or authorization support, governance risk and compliance, system analysis, records or information management, or technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework or NIST Special Publication 800-53 controls.
