Nokia, ICEYE partner to strengthen Ukraine's military connectivity.

Nokia, ICEYE partner to strengthen Ukraine's military connectivity. 26 October 2026 Nokia has partnered with Finnish satellite technology company ICEYE to sign a letter of Intent with Ukraine's Ministry of Defence to explore ways of improving the country's military communications using satellite technology. As a result, the move focuses on helping Ukraine develop satellite communications systems that it can own and operate independently. The move comes as Ukraine looks to strengthen its communications networks amid the ongoing war with Russia. The technology will use low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites to provide connectivity for military operations, border security, emergency services and disaster response. Unlike conventional arrangements where countries depend on outside providers, the proposed systems would allow governments to control their satellites, ground equipment and communication terminals. Earlier this month, Nokia and ICEYE announced plans to jointly develop secure, high-speed satellite broadband systems for governments and defence agencies. President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said: "Modern warfare has proven that reliable communications are a matter of national security. "We must all rely on capabilities that we can control. The Letter of Intent between the Ministry of Defense, ICEYE, and Nokia is an important step in this direction. I thank Finland and the Prime Minister of Finland for their consistent support. We value partners who not only help Ukraine, but also work with us to build Europe's long-term security." ICEYE CEO and Co-Founder, Rafal Modrzewski added: "Ukraine needs secure, sovereign and high-performance satellite communications systems that it controls. We have a proven track record of delivering sovereign missions at speed to help build that capability. ICEYE has proudly supported Ukraine since 2022, and we remain committed to continuing that support today." Nokia Defense Chief Geopolitical & Government Relations Officer, and Chairman, Mikko Hautala, concluded: "Nations need communications they can rely on in every situation. Satellite networks extend and protect connectivity when networks on the ground are disrupted. "This makes them a key part of any secure communications system. Through this Letter of Intent, together with Ukraine and ICEYE, we will explore how trusted, sovereign satellite communications can strengthen Ukraine's resilience and give it control over the connectivity it depends on."

Hop-on's Digitalage targets Enterprise Licensing for AI-Assisted Moderation technology.

Hop-on's Digitalage targets Enterprise Licensing for AI-Assisted Moderation technology. Former Nokia licensing executive Robert T. Braun joins industry leaders at IAM Live as Digitalage prepares its first enterprise-licensing candidate and creator-platform launch TEMECULA, CA, October 23, 2026 (Newswire.com) - Hop-on, Inc. (OTCID:HPNN) today identified AI-assisted text moderation as the first technology its wholly owned subsidiary, Digitalage, Inc., is preparing for enterprise evaluation and potential licensing. The initiative outlines a second prospective commercialization channel alongside Digitalage's creator-facing media platform. Digitalage's strategy is to operate its underlying media infrastructure within its creator ecosystem while preparing selected technologies for licensing to outside platforms, developers and enterprises through APIs and negotiated commercial agreements. The announcement follows Digitalage Chief Executive Officer Robert T. Braun's participation at IAM Live: Patent Transactions 2026, held October 22 in San Diego. The event marked Braun's first IAM appearance representing Digitalage as CEO following his appointment in September 2026. Braun and Hop-on Chairman and CEO Peter Michaels also held preliminary discussions with industry participants regarding technology licensing, intellectual-property commercialization and potential strategic relationships. No agreements were announced. "Digitalage was created for creators, but not as a one-use system," said Peter Michaels, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hop-on and Founder and Chairman of Digitalage. "The infrastructure we're developing to manage, protect and monetize digital media is designed to serve businesses well beyond our own creator ecosystem. Our objective is to build it, prove it and turn the components that solve real problems into commercial opportunities." AI-Assisted Moderation: First Enterprise Licensing Priority Digitalage's initial enterprise licensing candidate is an AI-assisted text-moderation engine designed to analyze live chat, comments and creator interactions, identifying content that warrants review. The company is developing optimized AI models and API integration capabilities intended to allow organizations to incorporate moderation into their existing applications and operational workflows. The technology is approaching demonstration readiness. Near-term priorities are completing the demonstration, validating operating performance and evaluating integration requirements with prospective pilot partners. Digitalage welcomes inquiries from organizations interested in exploring potential pilot deployments. Additional capabilities under development and evaluation include visual and video content protection, live-media infrastructure and digital rights-management workflows. Robert Braun: Turning Intellectual Property Into Commercial Value At IAM Live, Braun participated in the session "SEP Licensing Strategies That Maximise Returns" alongside Kent Baker, IP Adviser at TRASNA, and Roberto Ribeiro, Partner at DANIEL. The discussion addressed licensing negotiations, cross-industry standard-essential patent disputes and fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) licensing structures. Braun brings more than 20 years of international intellectual-property licensing experience, including nearly 12 years at Nokia, where he led patent-licensing strategy across the Americas and portions of Asia. Digitalage's enterprise initiative concerns its own media technologies and associated intellectual-property rights. "Licensing starts with identifying a problem worth solving and demonstrating that your technology delivers value," said Braun. "Digitalage is developing capabilities with applications beyond our own platform. Our priority is to validate those technologies, protect the underlying rights and build commercial relationships that can create long-term value." Creator Launch and Enterprise Commercialization Digitalage continues to advance its creator-facing platform, including live broadcasting, paid viewer access, replays, content libraries, creator controls and monetization. As announced October 21, the company is targeting an expanded creator Alpha in November, broader Beta testing in early December and commercial availability in the United States, Canada and Mexico before December 31, 2026. Digitalage's creator ecosystem is intended to provide a real-world operating environment for its infrastructure. The company's next major operational objective is to validate the complete paid-media transaction workflow, from live broadcast and viewer purchase through replay availability and accurate creator settlement. The launch remains dependent on successful testing, financing, payment readiness and applicable approvals. Digitalage's enterprise licensing initiative complements these activities by creating an additional potential revenue opportunity from selected components of the company's underlying technology. Future commercial arrangements will depend on technology validation, applicable intellectual-property rights and definitive agreements. No licensing revenue is being announced in connection with the IAM event. About Hop-on, Inc. and Digitalage Hop-on, Inc. Cadence and Nokia advance AI-driven electronic system design.

Cadence and Nokia advance AI-driven electronic system design. Key takeaways. * Nokia is running Cadence's AuraStack AI Super Agent on the Millennium M2000 AI supercomputer, delivering a 5x acceleration of core design and analysis tasks. * The solution fuses agentic AI, GPU-optimized EDA software, and scalable accelerated hardware in a fully on-premises, data-secure environment. * AuraStack automates schematic capture, placement, routing and multi-objective optimization using NVIDIA Nemotron open-model AI. * Cadence's computational stack leverages CUDA-X, cuDSS, and NVIDIA Omniverse to speed power-integrity, thermal, EM and circuit-simulation flows. * The modular Millennium architecture lets Nokia expand compute capacity and run multiple AI-driven workloads in parallel, establishing a new template for large-scale electronic-system design. Cadence-Nokia partnership powers ai-first electronic system design. Why the move to AI matters. Designing modern heterogeneous electronic systems - 5G radios, automotive ASICs, IoT edge modules - requires simultaneous trade-offs across power, timing, thermal and electromagnetic domains. Traditional manual or rule-based flows struggle to explore the combinatorial design space within realistic project timelines. By embedding agentic AI directly into the design kernel, Cadence enables Nokia to evaluate thousands of alternatives in minutes rather than weeks, shortening time-to-market while safeguarding proprietary data behind an on-premises fence. Architecture overview. 1. Agentic AI - AuraStack Super Agent. * Core model: NVIDIA Nemotron open-model foundation, fine-tuned on Cadence's electronic-design datasets. * Functions automated: schematic capture, component placement, detailed routing, multi-objective (power-delay-area) optimization. * Outcome: 5x faster completion of typical "place-and-route" runs (e.g., a 12-hour manual flow reduced to ~2.4 h). 2. Computational software - gpu-optimized EDA stack. | Cadence Module | GPU Library | Primary Acceleration Target | | Power Integrity | CUDA-X + cuDSS | IR-drop & EM-analysis | | Thermal Modeling | CUDA-X | 3-D heat-spread simulation | | EM Characterization | CUDA-X | Full-wave S-parameter extraction | | Circuit Simulation | NVIDIA Omniverse | Real-time transient analysis | * Performance metric: Benchmarks show up to 8x reduction in simulation wall-time for 10 M-gate mixed-signal blocks versus CPU-only runs. 3. Accelerated computing - Millennium M2000 platform. * Compute fabric: 4 x NVIDIA H100 Tensor-Core GPUs (each 60 TFLOPS FP64, 1 PFLOPS FP16). * Memory: 1.5 TB high-bandwidth DDR5 + 256 GB HBM2e per GPU. * Scalability: Modular chassis allow incremental addition of GPU nodes; capacity can grow from 4 to 16 GPUs without re-architecting the software stack. How Nokia leverages the stack. Parallel ai-driven workloads. Nokia runs multiple AuraStack instances concurrently - one for RF front-end layout, another for power-delivery network (PDN) optimization, and a third for thermal-aware floorplanning. The shared M2000 fabric schedules these jobs dynamically, ensuring maximal GPU utilization (> 85 % average) and eliminating idle compute windows. Secure, on-premises deployment. All AI models, design files and simulation results remain inside Nokia's data center, complying with ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements. The platform uses encrypted inter-node communication and role-based access controls, eliminating the risk associated with cloud-only AI services. Comparative snapshot: AI-Enhanced vs. Conventional flow. | Metric | Conventional CPU-Centric Flow | AI-Enhanced AuraStack Flow | | Place-and-Route Time | 12 h (typical) | 2.4 h (5x faster) | | Power-Integrity Simulation | 8 h per iteration | 1 h per iteration | | Thermal Analysis (3-D) | 6 h | 0.75 h | | Design Iterations per Week | 2-3 | 10-12 | | IP Exposure Risk | Cloud-based SaaS (higher) | On-premises, encrypted (lower) | All figures are based on Nokia's internal benchmark suite for a 7 nm RF-SoC design. Bottom line. By coupling Cadence's AuraStack AI Super Agent with the Millennium M2000 GPU supercomputer, Nokia has built a self-contained, AI-first design environment that slashes critical workflow times by up to 5x while preserving strict data security. The three-layer stack - agentic AI, GPU-accelerated EDA software, and modular high-performance hardware - creates a scalable foundation that other systems-level companies can emulate to meet the escalating complexity of next-generation electronic products.
